Wolf Creek Ski Area

Wolf Creek is our ski area which is 25 miles from Pagosa Springs 28 miles from Fairfield Resort. It has over 1500 feet vertical ski area, with three high speed triple chair and two double chairs lifts.

You are in for a treat at one of Colorado’s oldest and finest ski resorts. Wolf Creek’s trademark is friendly employees and abundant, light powder snow

Environment: Wolf Creek is a high alpine ski resort, 10,300 feet at the base and 11,900 feet at the summit. Sunscreen and sunglasses are necessary in the high altitude sun. The weather conditions can change rapidly so be prepared with extra clothing and goggles. Clothing need not to be elaborate, or even designed for skiing, but a wool hat, warm gloves or mittens, and underclothing are musts.

Recognize your own limitations. If you are tired or cold, stop for a while.

Operating Hours: For your convenience Wolf Creek’s cafeteria, snack bar, ski rental, sport shop and ticket windows are open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lifts open to the public at 9:00 a. m. and close at 4:30 p.m.

Pagosa Springs Recreation Center

The Recreation Center is located in Fairfield Pagosa also known as the Pagosa Lakes area. It has weight room two racquetball courts, Olympic size swimming pool, large Jacuzzi pool, and locker rooms for both men and women. There are also five tennis courts and miniature golf course located by the Pagosa Lodge.

Pagosa Springs Golf Course

Pagosa Fairfield, which is directly 3 miles west of downtown Pagosa Springs, has a 27 hole golf course. It is inner twined among the many residential houses in the area and can provide an entire day a challenge and fun for you golf lovers out there.

If you stay in one of our units during your stay here in Pagosa Springs we can sell you discounted golf passes for individuals all day with a cart. We can not give you price quotes until spring of each year, because the cost to play 18 holes varies from year to year determined by Pagosa Springs Golf Course.

We now offer golf packages! It includes 3 nights and 2 days of golf. 4 golf passes + cart and 4 passes to the Hot Springs. Call for info!!

Hot Springs

Hot Springs are thermally heated water from the ground rich in minerals. In downtown Pagosa there are the Pagosa Springs or Healing Springs. The Native Americans of the area gave the name to the springs which translates literally as hot water springs. They used them for the therapeutic value. Try them while you are here.

The Springs Inn: The Hot Springs in Pagosa Springs are the largest hot springs in the United States. There are over 13 pools ranging from 98 degrees at the low end, up to 116 degrees. The San Juan River runs next to two pools, which you can swim if you get to hot. The hot springs are privately owned and the cost per day runs about $17.00.
